Job description

As part of the Social Video Hub, you’ll be working across a range of Bauer’s biggest brands, with a focus on Hits Radio and KISS. You’ll be delivering first‑class video content day after day for our brand’s channels on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. As an integral part of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with other brilliant Video Producers and Editors to make short‑form and long‑form content that stands out from our competitors. With access to talent like Taylor Swift, Paul Mescal, KATSEYE and the cast of Stranger Things, you’ll be filming and editing social‑first content that’s watched by millions.

Being a Video Producer for the Hub means every day is different. One day you’ll be filming Hollywood talent on a red carpet; the next you’ll be working on an exciting new YouTube format in our studios; the next you’ll be editing behind‑the‑scenes content at Hits Radio Live. Pop culture is at the core of it all, and an obsessive interest in music, film and TV, the internet and the moments where those worlds collide is what drives our content. We’re fascinated by what’s next, from viral trends to the YouTube channels that are making the most noise online; we’re fans as much as we are creators. We’ve got big ambitions for social video in 2026 and beyond, and we’re looking for someone who shares our passion and creativity to help take us there.

The difference you will make

As Video Producer, you’ll play a key role in shaping Bauer’s social video output. You’ll develop, shoot, and edit content that amplifies our brands and resonates with audiences. Working closely with a talented team of creatives, you’ll bring ideas to life and help us achieve big ambitions for social video in 2026 and beyond.

Your role

You’ll lead the production of social‑first video content from concept through to delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Managing technical capture of both audio and visuals - including offload of footage
  • Building and de‑rigging sets, being hands‑on with camera setup, lighting and sound
  • Editing long‑form and short‑form video
  • Directing talent and crew when needed
  • Following best practice and house style whilst delivering content to deadline
  • Keeping up‑to‑date with current social and editing trends to maximise efficiency
  • Designing thumbnails
  • Communicating effectively with Senior Video Producer and wider Social Video Team
  • Collaborating with a crew of internal staff and additional freelancers
  • Developing creative video ideas to take our social output to the next level
Skills
  • 3+ years of solid video production experience
  • Great knowledge of camera, lighting and audio equipment
  • An ability to manage multiple projects at once with often fast turnarounds
  • Editing proficiency working within the full Adobe suite. Premiere Pro essential; Proficiency in Photoshop is desirable
  • Strong shooting and directing skills, including working with celebrity talent
  • A passion for digital content and social media
  • A keen interest in staying up to date with new filming techniques and equipment
  • An understanding of YouTube channel management and best practice
  • Calm, positive and approachable team player willing to adapt to the wider team’s needs
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high quality output
  • Creative and sometimes out‑the‑box thinker
  • Strong communications skills and an openness to learn
