We're looking for a Vetting Administrator to join our dynamic HR People Services Team, the frontline of HR across the business. This team delivers exceptional support to employees and managers, blending accuracy, empathy, and compliance in everything we do.

Your Role
  • Manage incoming emails, queries, and follow‑ups via a case management system.
  • Maintain accurate records across HR platforms to support visibility and compliance.
  • Conduct triage for higher‑level clearance applications.
  • Follow up on delayed applications, references, and responses.
  • Communicate progress updates to stakeholders and escalation issues as needed.
  • Verify and process employee documentation as required.
  • Administer clearance renewals, leavers, and personal circumstance changes.
  • Notify external authorities of vetting details and manage DBS cases.
  • Support ad‑hoc projects and general administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit standards.
About you
  • Proven administrative experience and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Professionalism and relationship‑building capability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Initiative, prioritisation, and a flexible "can‑do" approach.
  • Discretion and diplomacy in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and mail merge.
  • National Security Vetting will be required to undertake the role (Essential).

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
