Our client, a well-established first opinion small animal practice in Teignmouth, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic team. The role is open to seasoned vets and ambitious new graduates, offering flexibility, growth, and an exciting challenge.

The Role

You will be a small animal vet comfortable with sole charge. Consultations are limited to no more than 2 hours at a time, with 15-minute slots to ensure quality care. You will shape your work‑life balance with varying shifts and consultation hours across branches.

  • Weekend and out‑of‑hours requirement once every 7–10 days, supported by a nurse
  • Inpatient checks are straightforward; complex cases referred to an out‑of‑hours provider
  • Flexible working environment with highly supportive teams at each branch
The Company

This practice is part of a group with five branches, serving the community for many years. Directors now hold shareholder roles, driving growth and innovation. Each location offers unique facilities such as lap kits and CT scanners.

The Practice

Operating as a first opinion small animal practice, it boasts scopes, a CT scanner, full dental suite, X‑ray, and ultrasound facilities. The team comprises experienced vets supported by a proficient group of nurses and student staff.
