Overview

We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team!

The role is varied, primarily managing the "front of house". This includes welcoming clients and their pets, scheduling appointments, taking payments, managing client records, maintaining the cleanliness of reception and consulting areas, and also lots more. Applicants should have good IT skills and be able to work with our practice management system, but also Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Sharepoint. This is a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome clients and their pets at reception
  • Schedule appointments and manage client records
  • Process payments and maintain financial records
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception and associated consulting areas
  • Utilise practice management system and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint)
  • Travel to other branches may be required
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the team
Qualifications
  • Good IT skills and ability to use a practice management system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and SharePoint)
  • Previous veterinary reception experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Your work pattern

The position is based on hours per week across a 12-week rota. Shifts will include mornings, afternoons, evenings and every other Saturday morning. Shifts will vary between 8:00 and 19:30.
