Overview

Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and respected motor trade business in their search for an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician seeking a stable, rewarding career within a professional and progressive workshop environment, based in Southampton.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standard.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Work to manufacturer and industry guidelines ensuring all work is completed to a safe and professional standard.
• Complete job cards, service sheets, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure the workshop environment is kept safe, clean, and compliant at all times.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Level 4 desirable).
• Previous experience as a Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician is essential.

The Package

• Basic Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (experience dependent) + £400 monthly bonus.
• Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm (No Saturdays).
• Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
