Vehicle Technician (Progression to Workshop Engineer)

£25,000 - £35,000 + Manufacture Specific Training + Progression Routes Across company + Overtime

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Are you a Vehicle Technician looking for a workshop‑based, rewarding role within a long‑established and expanding company, with the opportunity to progress, upskill yourself with technical training and the chance to increase your earnings through overtime as you move towards a Workshop Engineer role?

This expanding materials handling provider, founded in 1974, specialises in the sales, rental, servicing, and maintenance of forklifts and related equipment, has grown steadily to achieve a turnover of over £4 million, and supplies sectors including warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing.

In this role, you will service, maintain, and repair material handling equipment, carrying out fault diagnostics, testing, assembly, and supplier work while preparing rental and stock equipment for use or sale, responding to breakdowns, and working closely with the Service Team in a full‑time role, Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM – 16:30 PM and finishing at 14:00 PM on Friday.

This role would suit a Vehicle Technician responsible for performing diagnostics, servicing and maintaining vehicles for a well‑established, expanding company, looking for a role with the chance to upskill yourself with technical training, progress to a Workshop Engineer role, and increase your earnings through overtime.
