Job description

Marble Talent Group has an urgent requirement for a Depot-based Vehicle Technician to join a client in Wickford.

The client is a market-leading UK supplier of heavy plant and fleet services.

Responsibilities

• Changing oil and air filters, checking and rectifying faults on brakes, clutches, and gearboxes.
• Fitting and servicing ancillary equipment, such as parking sensors, cameras, tow bars, and reverse cameras.
• Managing substances under COSHH Regulations, including oils, lubricants, and cleaning agents, along with associated risk assessments, COSHH assessments, Safety Data Sheets, and First Aid supplies.
• Discussing required repairs with the admin team and customers.
• Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing necessary work.
• Repairing or replacing components as needed.
• Performing vehicle system safety and service checks.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Personal Requirements

• Experience in vehicle service, repair, and installation of ancillary equipment.
• Full valid driving license with 6 points or fewer.
• Relevant industry qualification.
