Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in the UK seeks a Vehicle Technician to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and a full UK driving licence. Competitive salary up to £40,000 OTE, with a working week of Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday shifts.
Qualifications
- A full manual UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points).
- Previous main dealer workshop experience preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects.

What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards
- Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, in the workshop and during road tests
- Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
- Using workshop facilities and processes to maximise productivity
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to full customer satisfaction
- Supporting high performance and best practice within the workshop
- Taking part in regular training to further enhance your skills and knowledge
What We\'re Looking For
- A full manual UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points)
- Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous main dealer workshop experience preferred but not essential
Key Information
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (paid at 1.5x overtime)
- Salary: Up to £40,000 OTE depending on experience
