Overview

Vehicle Technician – Tamworth - Prestige

Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 basic, plus £9,000 bonus per year. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 – 17:00, alternate Saturdays 8:30 – 13:00 (paid at overtime).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified vehicle technician to join our client’s prestige main dealership in Tamworth. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of vehicles. The position offers a market leading bonus scheme and strong workload from a main dealership environment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Vehicle Repair or equivalent or higher.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technician.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
  • MOT licence is a bonus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
