Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment consultancy is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for their expanding workshop team in Guildford. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 qualified in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, possess a full UK Driving Licence, and ideally be MOT licensed. The role involves repairing and servicing vehicles, adhering to manufacturer's standards, and maintaining product knowledge. A competitive salary of up to £37k per annum plus bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Motor Vehicle Mechanics.
• Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
• MOT Licence advantageous, ideally EV trained.

Up to £37k per annum DOE + bonus • Guildford, Surrey • Permanent, Full Time • Monday – Friday 8am – 5.15pm / 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:30 – 5pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Repairing and servicing of motor vehicles as instructed.
• Working to a timed schedule and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
• Completing write-up of work required and work carried out on the job card.
• Attending internal and external training, as and when required.
• Competently and confidently diagnosing faults with all makes/models.
• Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Motor Vehicle Mechanics.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• MOT Licence would be advantageous.
• Ideally EV trained, but not essential.
• Ability to work well within a team.
