A leading workforce solutions provider is looking for a Vehicle Technician in the Thorne area. This role involves performing skilled repair tasks, attending training courses, and providing customer service support. Applicants should be proactive and able to work Monday to Friday, starting at 0600 until completion.

Responsibilities

  • Promote requirements of operational roles to meet customer needs.
  • Perform skilled workshop repair tasks.
  • Carry out warranty repairs as per policy.
  • Complete up-fit work (e.g., spoilers, sensors).
  • Conduct QC checks, PDI's and road tests.
  • Support body-shop with component removal/refitting.
  • Maintain housekeeping of work area.
  • Attend brand-specific training courses.
  • Undertake incidental duties to provide customer service.
  • Assist in brand press launches.
Job description
Overview

Manpower are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician in the Thorne area. This role will be working Monday - Friday 0600 until finish.

Responsibilities
  • To be aware, understand and actively promote the requirements and needs of all operational roles in successfully achieving the agreed customer requirements
  • Perform skilled workshop repair tasks as allocated by the Workshop Manager.
  • Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufactures warranty policy and procedures.
  • Carry out up-fit work as required. E.g. spoilers, parking sensors, ICI systems
  • Undertake QC checks, PDI's and Road test in line with current processes
  • Support body-shop in removing/refitting components
  • General housekeeping of work area
  • Attend brand specific training courses.
  • Any other incidental duties required to provide service to the customer within your capabilities
  • Provide assistance to brand press launch
Authorities
  • Authority is given to administer all duties relating to the post described above.
  • Health & Safety responsibilities and its accreditation to ISO; awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to environmental issues and aspects within the ISO14001 standard. These requirements may not only be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business.
