A well-established automotive group in Gloucester is seeking a Vehicle Technician to provide servicing and repairs. You'll receive full manufacturer training and work with the latest technology. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification and experience in a main dealer workshop. Qualifications

  • Full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points required.
  • Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is essential.
  • Ability to perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues on road tests.
  • Performing routine inspections as per manufacturer guidelines.

Salary: £28,000-30,000

Hours: 08:30-17:00 Mon-Fri, 08:30-14:00 1 in 3 weekends

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and on road tests
  • Performing routine inspections in line with manufacturer checklists and specific layouts to ensure all key components are reviewed
  • Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
  • Maximising productivity by making the most of workshop facilities and processes
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the full satisfaction of customers
Qualifications
  • A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is essential
  • Diagnostic skills with the ability to use modern diagnostic equipment
  • Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicles (high-voltage systems) desirable
