• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation of parts.
• Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment onsite.
• Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
• Accurately record time to complete job cards and associated details in accordance with DVSA.
• Use of skills and performance of other work within normal grade / job skills as required by the Workshop Supervisor.

Skills

Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent

Previous experience as a qualified Fitter / Mechanic / Engineer

Possession of own tools

Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of Europe’s biggest Automotive groups who are looking to recruit for a Permanent Workshop Technicians at their Bexleyheath site.

There is the option of part time, days or late shift and this will be reflected in the salary between £39,000 and £62,000 per annum.

We are looking for Technicians / mechanics from a Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV background with at least 2 years experience in the Industry.

You will be Apprentice trained to Level 3 or equivalent that has experience working with a variety of LGV or HGV vehicles.

Shift Patterns and Salary

Between 25 and 45 hours per week working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm or 12pm - 12am.
