Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent or time served experience.
• Full driver's license with no more than 9 points required.
• Experience with brakes, suspension, and steering component replacement essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services on vehicles.
• Conduct follow-up repair and replacement work.
• Work on tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

Skills

Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

Full driver's license with no more than 9 points

Experience with brakes, suspension, and steering component replacement

Experience delivering interim, full and major services

Job description

• £29,607 - £31,000 per annum + Bonus per annum
• Average uncapped bonus of £3,600 year (with potential to earn more)
• 5 days a week (this centre is closed on Sunday's)

Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
