Overview

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business that is looking to recruit multiple Vehicle Mechanics on a permanent basis due to growth at their Leconfield depot.

The Vehicle Mechanic isn’t an ordinary mechanic position. This role offers the opportunity to work on military vehicles and enhance mechanical knowledge across a wide spectrum, plus exceptional career advancement opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair vehicle components and accessories in line with company, client and/or manufacturer’s instructions.
• Remove and refit components safely, properly and economically using provided equipment.
• Diagnose faults and test vehicles using available equipment and recognised test procedures and techniques.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard.
• Remain up to date with the latest vehicle technology and changes by attending company training programmes.
