Job description
Overview

Mechanic/ Vehicle Technician on a full time basis. WANTED! Car and Van Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities

Your role will involve most aspects of maintenance and repair on cars, vans and LGVs.

  • Servicing, MOT repairs, cam belts, clutches, head gaskets and diagnostic work
  • 4 wheel alignment, tyres, air conditioning, terraclean, walnut blasting, DPF cleaning, fleet work and more
  • On-site Class 4 and 7 MOTs
Working Hours and Benefits

Standard hours are 45 hours per week, overtime available, with other bonuses and benefits along the way, including training in diagnostics and electric vehicles coming in.

Location and Schedule

Candidates must live in the UK and preferably be local within the West Midlands.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Saturday

Experience and Qualifications

Experience: Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person

Applicants must have served a recognized apprenticeship as a Motor Vehicle Technician and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Motor Vehicle Technician. NVQ Level 2 and the right experience will be considered.

Our Motor Vehicle Technician will have to be able to cope with the day to day pressures that a normal vehicle workshop faces. This role has plenty of opportunity to obtain overtime.

Possession of a full UK Driving licence is required; holding a Licence would be an advantage, however driver training can be provided to the successful Motor Vehicle Technician.
