Overview

Vehicle Damage Assessor - Birmingham (B33)

Permanent, 40 hours per week

Your role

• Work within site guidelines to manage workflow for job cards and meet volume targets
• Identify fast-track repairs and ensure accuracy of parts orders and purchase procedures
• Review repair methodologies to maintain cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with policyholders and engineering on borderline or uneconomical repairs
• Ensure health and safety compliance throughout the repair process
• Embed “standard methodology” and “lean activities” aligned with business strategy

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in vehicle damage assessment or a similar role
• Knowledge of Thatcham repair methods, Audatex system, and ATA qualifications preferred
• Commitment to health and safety standards, including BS10125 and the business ways of working
