Vehicle Appraiser

Location: Hinckley

Salary: £26,000 to start

Working Hours: 5 days per week, 42.5 hours including weekends

We are looking for a Part Exchange Vehicle Appraiser with a passion for cars and an eye for detail. You will support our busy sales department and serve as a gateway to a full car sales role.

Role Overview

As a Part Exchange Vehicle Appraiser you will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicles offered in part exchange, ensuring our vehicles are priced correctly. Basic car knowledge and an understanding of vehicle damage/preparation costs are preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed appraisals of vehicles offered in part exchange, considering factors such as condition, mileage, history, and other influences on valuation.
  • Utilise industry‑standard tools and software to assess vehicle values and generate accurate pricing.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team to explain appraisal results.
  • Drive each potential part exchange vehicle to identify mechanical issues.
Auction Disposals
  • Identify suitable vehicles for auction disposal.
