Job summary

A regional healthcare provider is seeking an enthusiastic Trust Grade doctor at ST3 level or above to join their Vascular Surgery department in Nottingham. This role offers valuable experience in vascular surgery through exposure to emergency and elective services. Responsibilities include performing complex vascular surgery, working with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in an out-of-hours rota. Candidates should have recent NHS experience, full MRCS, ALS, and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration is essential.
• MBBS or equivalent is required.
• Must have full MRCS and ALS qualifications.
• Good recent experience in vascular surgery in a large acute hospital.
• At least 12 months NHS experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the busy service and participate in an out‑of‑hours rota.
• Attend clinics, theatre sessions, and ward rounds.
• Participate in the local teaching program, audit, and research projects.
• Build upon clinical experience and master procedural techniques.
• Progress towards independent practice at Registrar level.
