A reputable construction firm based close to Redruth, Cornwall who has a very large fleet of vehicles is seeking a skilled Van Mechanic to join their team. You will need experience in repairing and servicing vans and other vehicles with strong mechanical knowledge.

Duties

• Work with the plant department and help make repairs to the fleet of vans and other vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical issues
• Repair and maintain vans at the workshop
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools for mechanical repairs.
• Experience in a previous role, especially working with vans.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

This is a great opportunity with a team who holds their staff. Progression will also be available. The role is Monday to Friday (no weekends).
