Overview

We are recruiting for Cat B Van Drivers on behalf of our client, a tyre wholesaler based in Chepstow.

You will be responsible for delivering brand new tyres to garages across South Wales and the South West, as well as collecting older worn tyres to return to depot. Handball is required and your day will normally consist of two runs — out & back, to then go back out again on a second run. This is temporary work. We are busy with work so we can be flexible, this means we can cater for drivers who are looking for ad-hoc or full-time hours each week, on a regular ongoing basis.

Due to insurance restrictions; you must have held your driving license for at least 12 months, with commercial experience too.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 04:00am to 06:00am starts daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver brand new tyres to garages across South Wales and the South West.
• Collect older worn tyres to return to depot.
• Assist with handball as part of daily duties.
• Work typically involves two runs a day (out & back, then a second run).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Cat B Driving Licence (must have held for at least 12 months with commercial experience).
• Previous driving/haulage experience preferred.

Pay

Hourly Pay Rates (PAYE): £13.00 per hour.
