Overview

Van Driver (Fruit Delivery to Schools) - Temp to Perm

• Location: Headcorn
• Salary: £32,000 per year / £12.35 per hour
• Start Time: 4:00am, typically 10 hour days
• Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver (3.5T) on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role involves delivering fruit to schools, with an average of 50 drops per day. This is a full time role which

What the job involves

• Driving a 3.5T van and carrying out daily multi-drop deliveries to schools.
• Unloading and delivering fruit - heavy lifting is required as drivers unload themselves.
• Starting work at 4:00am.
• Working term time only - but you'll be paid all year round (52 weeks), including school holidays. 39 weeks operational and 13 weeks non operational.

What we're looking for

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
• Someone comfortable with early starts and working independently.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Physically fit for manual handling and unloading.
• FLT licence is a bonus (but not essential).
