Overview

We are recruiting for a leading and prestigious Food Service Company based in Downham Market. Due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Van Driver to start asap. This is an on-going role potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.

Role

As a 3.5-ton van driver you will be responsible for delivering to customers in East Anglia. This is a customer-facing role with a planned route and early starts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 3.5-ton van on scheduled routes, adhering to safety and road transport regulations.
• Provide good customer service and effective communication (written and verbal).
• Assist with safe manual handling.
• Ensure on-time delivery and accurate handover to customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required
• No more than 3 points on licence
• Previous commercial van driving experience (preferable)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work to planned routes and start times

Working Hours & Location

Full-time position working Monday to Saturday. 4am starts with a planned route, approximately 8-10 hours per day. You will be customer facing and work with various customers across East Anglia.
