Job description

Our client, located near Cockermouth, is looking to expand their current team with Delivery Drivers. They supply some of the best fresh produce around, delivering to many local restaurants and hotels, providing their daily meat, fruit, and vegetables, and even working with well-known football clubs further afield.

As a delivery driver, you will work to a set route, managing a small number of drops per day, which could take you around the Lake District, through some of the most beautiful countryside. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with your customers and maintain the high customer service levels this company has already achieved.

Routes are pre-planned and can be easily followed via an electronic device, allowing you to enjoy your day and work to your own schedule.

Working hours vary, with start times between 4am and 6am, and a typical finish time between midday and 3pm. They operate on a Drop and Knock policy - once you're done, you'll clock off and still get paid!

We are ideally looking for candidates who can work full-time, Monday to Friday, and an alternate Saturday. However, part-time work or weekend shifts can also be arranged, and routes may be created to suit your availability.
