Job summary

A logistics company in Shepton Mallet is looking for reliable 3.5t drivers to join their team. Overview

The Best Connection Melksham are looking for reliable 3.5t drivers to join our Radstock based client's driving team. You will be working any 5 days between Monday and Saturday, with early 6am starts and the opportunity to work with a friendly & supportive team.

Salary (part-time)

• £13.25 per hour
• Or £17.00 ph if signed with an approved Umbrella Company payroll
• 5 day shifts between Monday and Saturday
• Immediate start

Responsibilities

Using a hand-held scanner and a route planner, you will be making timely deliveries of caged or palletised goods to retail sites, events and festival sites around the South and South-West. You will also be performing daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

• A valid Van (Cat B) licence
• 6 months Commercial driving experience
• A good level of fitness (as some heavy lifting)
• Proficient in using technical aids such as PDA\'s and Sat-Navs
• Experience in making timed deliveries essential
• A right to work in the UK
