Job description

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest health‑care systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions. We deliver acute, primary, community and mental‑health care services to more than 1.15 million people and to an extended population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

Shift Pattern

12‑hour shifts, 3 or 4 days over 7.

Role Overview

Public Health Vaccination Programmes are a key public‑health measure aimed at reducing health inequalities and achieving national and local health objectives through preventive care. As part of the Adult Immunisation Delivery service, the post holder will use professional skills and knowledge to ensure the effective delivery of all vaccination programmes. The role is part of an integrated vaccination team and may involve working in a variety of community settings, delivering services and ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred provision that responds to individual and local needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• A valid driving licence would be beneficial for providing a board‑wide service.
