Working For:Emirates Centre for Human Rights

Responsibilities
  • We require two people to picket the UAE Embassy in South Kensington for 4 hours per day, 4 days per week – hours to be discussed but to take place within the hours of 9am & 5pm.
  • The role will involve standing outside the Embassy, handing out leaflets to members of the public and explaining the current abuses taking place in the UAE.
  • A day spent with the campaign manager will outline the current issues and arrests taking place in the UAE.This will form part of our campaign strategy, with opportunities to be involved with our work in the media and parliament also on offer.
  • Ideal for a student or fresh graduate looking to be involved in advocacy.The picketing has been cleared with the Metropolitan Police and would simply require someone who enjoys being outdoors!
