A prestigious university in the UK is seeking a digital designer to create user interfaces for web applications. This role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to be part of the team developing the Leeds Design System. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital design and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch. This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Using a combination of different design technologies (for example Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch) you will be part of a team developing and supporting the Leeds Design System. You will contribute to the development of new and existing key core services used by a range of business stakeholders, working closely with business change and IT change professionals to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet strategic and user requirements. You will utilise skills, knowledge and experience gained through working in a digital design role to design user interfaces for web applications. You will work effectively, aligned to the development lifecycle ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers in designing fit for purpose solutions.
