A healthcare service provider in Chippenham is seeking two Urgent Care Assistants to support the delivery of care across the South West. Responsibilities include driving clinicians to patient homes, performing reception duties, and maintaining stock levels of medication. Overview
As a result of continued growth, HealthHero are seeking to recruit two Urgent Care Assistants on a minimum hours contract. Our Urgent Care Assistants will undertake driving and receptionist duties to support the delivery of Integrated Ururgent Care services across Wiltshire, Swindon and Bath and North East Somerset. Our Head Office is in Chippenham, with a degree of flexibility required to support operational needs across Urgent Care Bases.
Role and hours
The role involves a dual function of driving and reception work to support efficient operation of Integrated Urgent Care services across the South West locality. We operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service providing care to service users. This role provides non-clinical support to clinicians and patients using NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours. Some flexibility across Urgent Care bases may be required within shift hours.

The Urgent Care Assistant role is varied in nature. The successful candidate may carry out duties ranging from sitting at a reception desk and/or in a car for long periods to carrying weighted emergency equipment and undertaking CPR on the floor if necessary. A driver\'s medical may be required if successful at interview.
