Working with the Product Development Manager, you’ll support the creation of new upholstered products from concept to production. You’ll collaborate with international design studios to turn creative ideas into technically and commercially viable products.
Developing prototypes, evaluating comfort and ergonomics and resolving construction challenges will sharpen your problem-solving skills. You’ll also source and test materials, foams and finishes, ensuring they meet design intent and sustainability goals.
On occasion, you’ll carry out some upholstery in the workshop, keeping your hands‑on skills sharp. You’ll produce and maintain detailed product specifications and technical documentation, giving you experience in the commercial side of product development.
