A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking an experienced Unscheduled Care Lead to oversee the Primary Care team at HMP Brixton. This role requires you to provide exceptional patient care and lead a multi-disciplinary team in a challenging environment. You will be responsible for implementing evidence-based practices, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and promoting patient engagement. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a related field and significant experience in a healthcare setting. The position offers a full-time contract with excellent benefits.
Job summary: Due to the recent recategorisation to a Category B Remand Prison, we have an exciting opportunity for a Unscheduled Care Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Brixton.
HMP Brixton is now a Category B male prison since April 2025, housing men on remand. Our patients’ needs will vary greatly but there will be a focus on mental health, substance misuse and early days in custody.
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week
08:00‑16:00 Monday‑Friday
Up to £63,119 depending on experience.
