EdEx is working with 4 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools across the Borough of Ealing who are looking for Unqualified Teachers – Science, Maths, and English.

The position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.

There are many routes into being a qualified teacher from this role, including the 12‑week assessment‑only route, a schools direct initial teacher training programme, and a PCGE.

What will the role of an Unqualified Teacher – Science, Maths, English entail?

• Have your own classes that you are responsible for, with the support of a subject‑specialist mentor who would work with you intensively.
• Provided schemes of work.
• Working alongside the School covering all lessons.
• Providing high‑quality cover lessons – KS3‑4 basis.
• Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie.
• Raising attainment & the quality of learning.
• Inspiring & motivating young minds.
• Managing behaviour effectively.

What are we looking for? – Unqualified Teachers, Science, Maths, English

Academics:

• A degree at 1st class or 2:1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university.
• Strong A‑Levels and GCSEs.
• Experience – strong experience working inside education in any of the following roles:

• Unqualified Teacher
• Cover Supervisor
• HLTA
• Tutor (6 months+)
• Teaching Assistant (6 months+)
