Calling All final year Students & Graduates – Make a Real Difference Working with Young People!

Roles
  • Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor in local secondary schools, supporting pupils aged 11-16 in the classroom.
  • Assist with learning, emotional wellbeing, and confidence – making a genuine difference every day.
  • Great way to discover if you may want to train to be a teacher while earning paid experience.
Hours
  • School hours 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Choose 2-5 days per week – completely flexible to fit around studies or other commitments.
Pay
  • Daily rates £90 to £110 per day (PAYE) for 6.5 hours work.
Training
  • Free, in‑person 3‑hour training course to introduce classroom life and prepare for first day.
  • Access to over 2,500 CPD courses, webinars, and resources through the National College – completely free.
