Location: New Eltham
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) - includes long days and alternate weekends
Salary Rate: £24.70

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a passion for providing exceptional care and ensuring efficient unit operations. • Demonstrate experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional, person-centred care in accordance with residents' care plans.
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medication protocols, and industry standards.
• Overseeing and managing unit care plans to maintain best practices and individual needs.
• Responding promptly to emergencies and escalating concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
• Accurately maintaining care records, incident reports, and end-of-shift handovers.
• Coordinating and resolving staff rota issues, arranging agency bookings when required.
• Supporting and mentoring staff to create a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Actively participating in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
