A global pharmaceutical company is offering an exciting Undergraduate Programme in Regulatory Policy & Intelligence in Towcester, UK. Candidates pursuing a degree can apply for a year-long placement starting September 2025. Applicants will gain experience in regulatory affairs, working on key issues that impact medicine development while developing vital professional skills within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and good communication skills. Applications close on 1 February 2026.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be completing a placement as part of a degree course at a UK University, either through Year in Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year.

The Global Regulatory Policy and Intelligence team is accountable for monitoring changes in the external regulatory environment worldwide. The team also coordinates and drives Pfizer’s response to these changes. Discussions with internal colleagues specialising in affected areas, ranging from clinical development to digital technologies, allows the regulatory policy team to develop a point of view, which Pfizer uses during discussions with regulators (e.g. the EU Medicines Agency, US FDA, China Regulatory Authority) and colleagues from other pharmaceutical companies. The Undergraduate positions are based Sandwich or Walton Oaks, UK.

There will be many opportunities to interact face‑to‑face and virtually (via Webex, teleconference, etc) with Pfizer colleagues around the world. There will also be opportunities for interaction with people working on similar issues in other pharmaceutical companies.
Placements will start on 1st September 2025 and will run for 12 months.
