A leading technology provider is searching for an Uncrewed Systems Service Technician to join the Plymouth UK facility. This role involves technical support for the UK Royal Navy and other European users of Slocum gliders and AUVs. Essential qualifications include 3-5 years of relevant experience, a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, and excellent communication skills. The technician will deliver service, troubleshoot issues, and may occasionally travel for on-site support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of UK Royal Navy experience in handling and service support of unmanned systems.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and software issues.
• Experience with small boats and seagoing on large vessels.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical inquiries and support to customers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair oceanographic equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for service and testing.
