A language education provider is seeking an EFL Residential Teacher for a full-time position in various UK locations. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality EFL lessons while ensuring student welfare. Essential qualifications include a CELTA or equivalent, a UK passport, and experience teaching English as a Foreign Language. Responsibilities also involve developing relationships with students and working in a team setting. The position offers accommodation and meals, with a work schedule covering up to 42 hours a week.

Teachers will deliver high-quality and communicative EFL Task Based lessons as part of a teaching team promoting the welfare of students and adhere to, and comply with the MLA Safeguarding Policy. Lessons involve engaging students through a variety of activities to help them develop their skills and provide an environment that increases the use of the English language in lessons.
Working hours are variable and will be organised according to a rota in the centre. You will not be required to go on excursions, activities or any pastoral care outside your teaching and admin hours on teaching days. However, MLA programmes are hard work and you might exceptionally be requested to assist outside your working hours.
Residential contracts are based on up to 42 working hours over a 7-day session with one day off per week. You will be expected to cover up to 36 contact teaching hours and up to 6 hours of meetings, administrative duties, and CPD sessions.
