Position Overview

A wonderful two-day, live-out sole charge nanny position has become available, working with a professional and friendly family in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The hours will be 08.00-18.00 on Wednesday and Thursday (20 hours). There could be additional ad hoc hours in the school holidays and for babysitting, but these will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Look after two happy children – a girl aged six and her little brother aged three.
  • Collect the children from school and pre‑school (half days) and drop them back on each evening.
  • Engage the children in arts and crafts, construction play and Lego activities.
  • During school holidays, organise day trips or activities, always keeping the children happy and safe.
  • Assist with household chores to keep family life running smoothly, such as children’s laundry and ironing, maintaining the children’s rooms and toys, and cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day.
  • Oversee homework, uniform, sports kit and costumes needed for school each day.
  • Prepare the children for dinner and bath routine, ensuring that all used rooms are left tidy and ready for the parents’ return.
  • Drive the fully insured duty car safely; a clean licence is required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum experience level: Two years as a nanny or similar role.
  • Required training: Enhanced DBS (updated) and 12‑Hour Paediatric First Aid.
  • Required qualifications: None, but experience is essential.
  • Must be a kind, caring, fun, and organised nanny who is responsible, reliable and has good family values.
Pay & Working Hours
  • Work hours: 08.00-18.00 (20 hours) on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Pay: £18,720 gross per annum, with mutually agreed overtime paid at £18 gross per hour.
  • This is a permanent position.
