A local educational institution in Walsall is looking for a caring and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of 2-year-old pupils. Job description
ADVERT: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Salary: Grade 4 SCP: 7-11 (£9,207-£9,813)

15 hrs per week – 8:45am-11:45am (Term time only)

Temporary contract (January 2026-31/03/27)

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and motivated individual to join our successful Early Years Team. This role is to support the learning and development of our 2 year old pupils during their daily sessions in school.

Lower Farm is a nurturing and continually improving school with a pupil centred focus.

It is essential that you have a secure knowledge of child development and good Maths and English skills. Experience of working with pupils in this age group is also essential. Training in Forest Schools and/or Attachment would be advantageous.

The school is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will depend on a successful enhanced DBS clearance, two suitable references and an online search.
