ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced TV Producer to lead and manage live and recorded retail TV sales programming focused on Lifestyle and Jewellery categories. The role requires a strong understanding of TV commerce, storytelling for sales, live broadcasting, and audience engagement, ensuring high-quality content that drives viewership, conversions, and revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content & Production
- Plan, produce, and execute live and pre-recorded retail TV shows for Lifestyle and Jewellery products
- Translate product USPs into engaging, sales-driven on-air content
- Work closely with buyers, merchandisers, and sales teams to align programming with commercial goals
- Develop show rundowns, scripts, talking points, and visual cues for presenters
Live Broadcast Management
- Manage end-to-end live show production, ensuring seamless execution and zero on-air errors
- Coordinate with anchors, presenters, stylists, camera crew, floor managers, and directors
- Ensure compliance with broadcast standards, legal claims, pricing accuracy, and disclosures
- Monitor live performance metrics (sales, call volumes, engagement) and adapt content in real time
Jewellery & Lifestyle Expertise
- Ensure accurate presentation of jewellery attributes (gemstones, metals, certifications, pricing, care)
- Oversee lifestyle product storytelling including home, fashion, wellness, décor, and accessories
- Maintain brand tone, visual aesthetics, and premium look on screen
Post-Production & Optimization
- Supervise post-production edits for repeats, promos, and digital platforms
- Analyze show performance, TRPs, and sales data to optimize future programming
- Collaborate with digital teams for OTT, website clips, and social commerce content
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of Retail TV / Shopping Channels / Live Commerce
- Proven experience in Jewellery & Lifestyle categories
- Expertise in live studio production and sales-led content
- Commercial mindset with focus on conversion and revenue
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to perform under tight timelines and live broadcast pressure
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Production, or related field
- 4–10 years of experience in TV production, preferably in retail or shopping TV
- Hands‑on experience with live selling formats and studio operations
- Knowledge of jewellery terminology, certifications, pricing, and compliance is a strong advantage
