Job summary

A local educational support provider in Moulton is seeking Tutors to support students requiring additional help. The role includes providing individualized one-on-one tutoring, managing student behavior, and collaborating with teachers and parents. Applicants should have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be adaptable in their teaching methods. Preferred experience includes working with SEN students in an educational environment. This position may require both in-person and some online tutoring sessions.

Simply Education is seeking Tutors in the local area to support schools with their pupils who require extra support. The tuition can be for intervention, 121 support, children with needs within a school setting, as well as home provisions. The majority of the needs will be face to face, however there can be occasions where there will be some online requirements too.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Individualised support: Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to student(s)
  • Behaviour management: Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies
  • Adaptable teaching: Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support system
  • Progress monitoring: Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
