Job description
Aim of the role :

Redcentric has recently split its business into an MSP business and a Data Centre business. It has recently been announced that the DC business has been sold, subject to legal completion. The MSP business is continuing to go forward on a growth strategy, following the completion of the sale, the DC business will be a critical supplier of the MSP business (as well as a Customer). There will also be a transitional services agreement (TSA) whereby the MSP back office will support the spun-out DC business for a period of circa 12 months.

In light of the above, Redcentric are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Procurement Team on a fixed term contract basis, which is expected to last for a period of up to 18 months, in order to oversee and deliver a range of internal projects supporting the transition services agreement and overseeing the relationship with Redcentric Data Centres as a critical supplier, as well as tackling a number of procurement related cost saving initiatives.

This role will be pivotal in coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring seamless transitions between suppliers, and embedding new contractual arrangements efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will combine strong project management discipline with an understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and business transformation, ideally having gained previous experience within a managed services organisation or similar environment and potentially even having been involved in a carve out business through a transition process.

Key Responsibilities :

Key duties will include, but are not restricted to the following :

Act as TSA Manager

Purpose : Act as the central figure responsible for managing the overall TSA relationship between the two organisations. (Redcentric MSP and Redcentric DC)

Responsibilities :

  • Own and set up the end-to-end TSA governance and delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the two companies, Redcentric MSP and Data Centres.
  • Lead, manage and co‑ordinate the delivery of commitments to DC under the TSA, involving liaison with multiple functional teams in MSP.
  • Monitor service delivery, SLAs, costs, and timelines.
  • Escalate and resolve disputes or performance issues.
  • Oversee TSA exit planning and transition to steady‑state operations.
Act as TSA PMO

Purpose : Provide governance, tracking, and reporting structure.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain TSA tracker (services, SLAs, end dates, extensions).
  • Identify, assess, and manage project performance, risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as required and reporting to Leadership Team.
  • Support documentation and change control.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional dependencies and exit readiness.
Act as Contract Manager

Purpose : Ensure contractual compliance and support negotiations.

Responsibilities :

  • Interpret TSA clauses and resolve disputes.
  • Manage amendments, extensions, and termination notices.
  • Ensure alignment with broader separation agreements.
Change & Communications Lead

Purpose : Manage stakeholder communication and change impact.

Responsibilities :

  • Communicate TSA timelines, changes, and risks.
  • Support handover to permanent service providers.
  • Manage expectations across both organizations.
Plan for Exit

Purpose : Plan and execute exit from the TSA.

Responsibilities :

  • Define and track exit milestones.
  • Coordinate cutover activities and decommissioning.
Other Project Management / Procurement Initiatives

Purpose : Support the Procurement Director in the delivery of other procurement related cost saving initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and deliver multiple ad‑hoc projects within the Procurement function, ultimately creating efficiencies and cost savings, ensuring successful delivery to agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Provide oversight and strategic review of MSA performance and effectiveness
Person Specification :

The successful candidate will have the following skills / attributes and experience :

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within a procurement, supply chain, or business transformation environments.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage across all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing transitions, supplier onboarding / offboarding, or service migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes and contract lifecycle management.
  • Highly collaborative and team‑oriented approach.
  • Detail‑focused with a proactive mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery.
Hours of work

The company's standard hours of work are 9.00am - 5.30pm with one hour for lunch, Monday to Thursday, and 9.00am-3.30pm on a Friday, however due to the nature of the role, flexibility will be required. It is essential for this role that the candidate is able to travel on occasion within the UK and work away from home when business needs dictate.
