This role is with one of my favourite family offices, the sort of place I'd like to work if I was still in tax! The people are friendly and supportive, there is a real team atmosphere, there are no timesheets to worry about, you just do the work to the best of your abilities without having to worry about WIP and recoveries.

The family office is responsible for the personal tax and trust affairs of an UHNW British family of several generations. Working as part of the trust team, you will have responsibility for your own portfolio of UK based trusts. The role will involve the preparation of accounts and tax returns as well as associated trust administration.

You are likely to have a 3 years'+ trust experience from an accounting or law firm, private bank or another family office. There is always someone on hand to help with unfamiliar areas and there is a programme of on-going technical training provided both internally and by external specialist advisers.

The family office is an environment unlike any other - it allows you to focus on providing the best service without becoming bogged down in billing and fee disputes. The working environment is lovely, modern offices in central London and the adoption of a hybrid working policy which allows you to maintain a healthy work/life balance.
