This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive detail-oriented individual to join our Treasury Team within the Finance Centre of Expertise. You’ll be part of a 50-person Finance function gaining broad exposure across Octopus and insight into how the business operates.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self‑motivated and enjoys working independently while managing multiple tasks.

The Team

The Treasury Team sits within the Finance Centre of Expertise and is responsible for the Group’s cash management (including payments and bank reconciliations) managing banking relationships KYC and risk management.

What You’ll Be Doing
Payments & Approvals
  • Manage the Treasury Payments Inbox and ensure requests are processed accurately and on time
  • Execute FX and Money Market Fund trades within bank cut‑off times
  • Track and elevate outstanding approvals
Reconciliations & Journals
  • Prepare and submit daily / weekly journals
  • Complete reconciliations and explain any variances
Cashflow & Reporting
  • Produce daily cashflow reports weekly balance analysis and end‑of‑day summaries
Controls & Compliance
  • Maintain process documentation and ensure SLA compliance
  • Update signatory lists and support audits
Bank Account & KYC Management
  • Open / close bank accounts and maintain the masterfile
  • Fulfil KYC requirements and manage onboarding for new funds
Ad Hoc Support
  • Resolve payment queries support audits and suggest process improvements
  • Provide general Treasury support and handle ad‑hoc requests
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications

At least 1 year experience in a similar role

Preferred Qualifications
  • Understand KYC and bank account opening / closing protocols
  • Studying or wanting to toward a Finance / Treasury professional qualification
  • Competent in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, able to build basic reports)
  • Kyriba or any other Treasury Management System (Desirable)
  • Banking portals (HSBC, Natwest, Barclays, Santander) (Desirable)
  • Competent IT Skills
