My client, a leading Audit firm, are hiring a Manager to join their rapidly expanding Treasury Accounting Advisory team. The team provides Corporate Treasury solutions to complex business challenges across a range of industries including Banking, Insurance, and Retail. The team provides deep treasury expertise in financial products and markets, risk management, systems, governance, valuation, and accounting.

Job Title: Treasury Accounting Advisory Manager

Salary: £65,000 - £90,000

Industry: Professional Services

Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid - 2 days in office per week)

Type: Permanent

What the role involves:
  • Review and implement treasury strategies, policies, target operating models, cash management processes, and related technology and systems.
  • Carry out risk management assessments across foreign exchange, interest rates, credit, and commodities.
  • Perform internal audits of treasury functions for a wide range of clients, from FTSE 100 companies to housing associations and charities, including benchmarking activities.
  • Provide technical support on accounting and regulatory change projects, such as IFRS 9, UK GAAP, EMIR, and Basel III.
  • Assist in delivering treasury advisory projects, including strategy reviews, operating model design, and audit support, while contributing to larger multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Support business development for the company's IFRS 9 offering by preparing client proposals and developing solutions for corporates, listed entities, and regulated businesses.

  • Have a professional accounting qualification from a recognised body (ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc).
  • Have worked within accounting advisory or technical accounting within a professional services firm or corporate business.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of IAS 39 and IFRS 9, and experience of their practical application.
  • Experience working within a Corporate Treasury function, with technical knowledge of financial instruments, risk management, treasury strategies, systems, governance and controls.
  • Business Development experience with new and existing clients.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering high quality work, including complex projects and stakeholder deliverables.
