Role Overview

The Transport Team Leader supports our logistics operations, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. You will assist in supplying products and services correctly and on schedule, supporting the Warehouse Manager with ADR and non-ADR solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with ADR legislation and maintain proper record keeping.
  2. Verify packaging sufficiency and compliance for transportation.
  3. Manage documentation and regulatory compliance requirements.
  4. Maintain accurate records and update systems accordingly.
  5. Ensure efficient receipt and issue of components.
  6. Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Adhere to health and safety policies, reporting non-conformance.
  8. Prepare and provide regular operational reports.
  9. Assist with annual stock takes.
  10. Perform additional duties as required to meet company objectives.
  11. Motivate the team to meet KPIs and service goals.
  12. Prioritize workloads and manage multiple deadlines.
  13. Work independently with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  14. Maintain organization and oversee project completion.
  15. Use company software accurately and efficiently.
  16. Ensure health and safety standards and environmental compliance.
  17. Promote team improvement and morale.
  18. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  19. Maintain flexibility in working hours, including weekends.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • ERP system knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience in a high-pressure transport environment.
  • Knowledge of ADR Class 9 and regulatory compliance (training provided).
  • Understanding of Customs processes and Carnet use.
  • Leadership willingness and compliance drive.
  • Experience with European and global shipments.
