As a Transport Returns Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining vehicle compliance, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring a smooth end‑of‑day process for our drivers.

  • Hours: 40.25 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (rotational)
  • Start/Finish time: 10 am – 10 pm
  • Job Type: Full time & permanent contract
Here’s What You Can Expect to Be Doing
  • Debrief drivers and inspect returning vehicles for compliance and safety.
  • Report defects, damages or safety concerns promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers on daily routes and operational issues.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed.
  • Manage returns documentation and perform related administrative tasks.
  • Update depot performance statistics and contribute to daily reporting.
A Few Things About You
  • An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations is desirable.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Competent use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Confident in addressing vehicle‑related concerns with drivers constructively.
