A regional transport authority in the UK is seeking an Interim Transport Projects Delivery Officer to support the Bus Service Improvement Plan. This role involves enhancing passenger experience and working closely with local authorities and bus operators. Tees Valley Combined Authority have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Transport Projects Delivery Officer to join our team on a 12 month fixed-term basis. The role will be focused on supporting the delivery of our Bus Service Improvement Plan, helping us to enhance the experience for passengers across Tees Valley by creating a sustainable and well-connected network, with improved waiting facilities and affordable fares. Working within a team, you will be responsible for the delivery of improvements to local bus services, including implementing and maintaining bus routes, introducing fares offers, and enhancing the passenger experience. You will also work closely with a wide range of key stakeholders, such as our local authorities and local bus operators, supporting the development and delivery of various initiatives targeted towards improving public transport and the day-to-day lives of people living across the region.

You don't have to have experience of delivering transport projects. We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to succeed, who are able to work collaboratively to focus on achieving the required outcomes. Your excellent communication and influencing skills will enable you to engage with different audiences and build relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders.
You will have experience of working on projects, preferably within a political environment, and be able to use those skills to support our programme of work.
