We are looking for someone like you.We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Planning Supervisor to be based at our site in Holywell on our contract with Kingspan. As part of this busy transport operation, covering Mon to Fri.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Oversee planning of all Kingspan and Euroclad orders and shipments within SLA timeframes
• Manage core fleet allocation and optimisation across all sites using TMS
• Ensure subcontractor planning, cost allocation, and WTS entries are accurate
• Represent Planning Team in daily Ops calls and maintain clear communication with Kingspan & Euroclad CS teams
• Act as liaison between CS teams and XPO Transport
• Monitor and action Planning inbox and WTS Quality Events
• Identify and plan backhaul opportunities, ensuring revenue capture
• Ensure collections and urgent orders are planned and communicated
• Maximise fleet utilisation by proactively adjusting plans
• Notify customers of any changes or failed orders with timely re-planning
• Respond promptly to emails and Teams messages
• Escalate non-conformance issues to Planning Manager/Supervisor

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced transport environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team
• A good understanding of compliance and driver hours would be beneficial
