Overview

Night Shift Transport Planner
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Shift: Approx. 9:00pm / 10:00pm start - 10-hour shift

We are looking to introduce a Night Shift Transport Planner to our team. This role will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and supporting our night operations to ensure efficiency and excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule vehicle routes in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Support with loading vehicles where required (forklift training can be provided).
• Liaise with drivers and the pallet network to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with operational standards.
• Tackle any issues that arise during the shift and find practical solutions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in transport planning within a pallet network environment is essential.
• Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Flexible and hands-on attitude, with a willingness to support wider operations when required.
